Clementine is one of San Antonio's most celebrated restaurants — chef-owner John Russ is a James Beard “Best Chef: Texas” finalist, and the room is a Castle Hills institution. When their dining room needed a full refresh, I refinished all sixteen tables in six days, sanding each top back to bare wood and rebuilding the finish by hand.
Every table went back onto the floor matched in tone and sheen, and signed off to John's standard before the doors opened for service.
